Youthopia 2010

Youthopia 2010 an event planed produced and executed by me for the past 5 years. Every year during the month of july this event takes place simultaneously in 7 cities across India. Youthopia a property of Future Group done for Central retail Malls. As a part of Future group me and colleague Roch D'souza (Country head Pantaloons) planed this youth festival to promote youth brands and to give a platform to youngsters to come showcase there talent live in front of a large audience. was absolutely crazy. With more than 85 colleges of mumbai and over 700 students participated this year in groups and individuals.

The show is divided in three parts 1. War of the Djs 2.Battle of the Bands and 3. Hip Hip Dance Battle. Consecutive 3 weeks event as the elimination round was on a saturday and Sunday the Finals. The winner of each competition walks out with a cash prize of 25k.

Every year i enjoy hosting this show like anything as i see young talents getting groomed live on stage. This show has it all to get your adrenaline rush, from crazy B-boy dance crews to head banging bands to wicked Djs thumping your heart out of your mouth. Thanks to all my fans across mumbai to gather up in large numbers nd supporting this massive event.
